Parking garage address: Yliopistonkatu 15

Verso is located on a pedestrian street, which is why we recommend parking in Verso’s own heated parking garage.
Please note that our parking garage is quite narrow in places, and some parking spaces and turns may be tight for larger vehicles.
In our garage, P-Verso, the general maximum height is 190 cm, but in some areas it is even lower due to ventilation ducts.
Please park your car carefully.

You can find more spacious parking at P-Tori (maximum height 205 cm), where parking costs the same.

The heated parking garage located beneath Verso is accessed from Yliopistonkatu via P-Tori. From the garage, you can take an elevator directly next to the hotel through the indoor shopping center. This garage is an additional service available only to our hotel guests.
Price: €16.00 / 24h OR €10 day parking for conference guests.

Hotel Verso is located in the best spot on Jyväskylä’s pedestrian street, at Kauppakatu 35, right in the heart of the city. Nearby you’ll find theaters, restaurants, gyms, and excellent shopping opportunities.

ArrivAL by PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Hotel Verso is easily accessible by public transport. The train station and bus terminal are within walking distance. From the travel center or exhibition center, walk 300 meters along Väinönkatu and turn left onto Kauppakatu (the pedestrian street). The walking distance from the travel center is approximately 460 meters.

For taxis and drop-off traffic, we recommend the turning area at Asemakatu 12, from where it is a 100-meter walk along the pedestrian street to the hotel reception.

Driving directions to Verso’s parking garage:

  1. Please drive into the P-Tori parking garage from Yliopistonkatu, at the address Yliopistonkatu 15.
  2. After the first boom gate, drive straight towards the second boom gate in front of you.
  3. At the second boom gate, there is a VERSO sign displaying the number of available parking spaces in P-Verso.
  4. If there’s space, continue along the curved ramp, following the Verso signs. Pass the next parking garage, and drive straight down one more level to the Verso parking garage.
  5. Park in a space marked with a Verso sign.
  6. Behind the metal door opposite the ramp, you’ll find the elevator that takes you next to the hotel’s indoor terrace. Walk past the terrace and turn right, and you’ll be at reception.
  7. Please inform our reception of your car’s license plate number, and our receptionists will grant you parking rights for the duration of your stay. Payment for parking is made at the reception.

If P-Verso is full, you can leave your car in the large shopping center parking area after the first barrier.

Nowadays you won’t need to take a ticket upon arrival. License plate recognition will be in use. Please provide your license plate number to reception.

For Moovy app users

If you use the Moovy app, please note that to access the hotel’s parking spaces, you must disable license plate recognition before arriving at P-Tori. If this step is missed, you’ll pass through the first barrier automatically, but at the second barrier, you’ll need to contact Jyväsparkki customer service via the intercom.

Electric Vehicle Charging

There are now 11 electric vehicle (EV) parking spaces available in Verso’s parking garage! If you wish, you can reserve a space in advance by contacting our reception by email: info@hotelliverso.fi. EV charging is operated via the PlugIT app.
The price for a pre-booked parking space is 25.00 € per day.

Without advance reservation, the parking fee is 16.00 € per day.
Electricity is charged separately based on consumption via the PlugIT app. The starting fee is 1.00 € and the electricity rate is 0.22 €/kWh
